"When you see the supporters and how the club works it is like a religion to them. We will try to do our best to bring more trophies back for them." Rafael Benitez

England's most successful football club has a record 18 League Championships, 14 League and FA Cups, plus 3 UEFA and European Super Cups apiece. But it's the FIVE EUROPEAN Trophies that place the club in an exclusive group, clubs which have won the most prestigious prize of all five times or more.

LFC MUSEUM & STADIUM TOUR
Tour availability : 23rd May-4th June 2008

Anfield will be hosting the flagship event of the 2008 Capital of Culture year - the concert by Sir Paul McCartney, on June 1st.

Whilst this is a great honour, it will also involve a huge amount of work to stage such a concert, as a result there will be NO STADIUM TOURS during the period 23rd May - 4th June, inclusive.

The Museum will still be open each day. However, there will also be NO CAR PARKING at all at Anfield during this period and all visitors should aim to use public transport; buses 17, 26 & 27 are all frequent and convenient from the city centre.

This disruption is unfortunate, at a peak time, but unavoidable. Sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.
Greatest Game Ever
Following "The Greatest Football Game Ever" on the 25th May 2005, Liverpool FC Museum has permanently added to its collection the beautiful Champions League trophy! Surrounded by the sights and sounds of that glorious night in Istanbul, with many witty banners created by fans, the Trophy has brought in unprecedented numbers of visitors.

The Museum features two film shows - the first is in a recreation of the standing Kop and tells the story of the incredible 'Kopites', the other is a cinema showing 'One Night in May', the wonderful documentary about that night in Istanbul.

The stadium tour takes you behind the scenes at Anfield, visiting the dressing rooms, down the tunnel to the sound of the crowd, a chance to touch the famous “This Is Anfield’ sign and sit in the team dug-out. Informative tour guides will tell you about the great Anfield Stadium and escort you on to The Kop - surely the most famous terrace in World football.

Bring your cameras and hand-held video recorders and take those precious pictures of the stadium before it eventually is replaced by the fabulous new stadium.
